廣州市天河區陶育路小學(原名：石牌東小學)創建於1999年7月，位於黃埔大道旁，毗鄰著名高校暨南大學，占地面積6350平方米，現有19個教學班，教職工40多人，其中本科學歷33人，占教職工總數的89%，在校學生740余人，是一所中等規模的學校。自創辦以來，學校狠抓管理體制的改革，著力于師資隊伍建設和教育資訊化建設，積極推動教育科研、藝術教育及資訊技術教育，辦學成績顯著，在周邊社區已享有盛譽。學校管理嚴格規範，文化氛圍濃厚，學習環境幽雅、宜人。大型快樂體育場、70米長的塑膠跑道上活躍著學生們矯健的自由身姿。教學設施設備先進完善，美術室、音樂室、舞蹈室、電子琴室、電腦網路室、綜合電教室、圖書室、乒乓球室等現代氣息濃厚的專用課室成爲了師生展現自我，激發創造力的舞臺。學校領導重視師資建設,開展形式多樣的校本培訓工作,使得一流的師資隊伍迅速壯大。在參加天河區等各項大型比賽中，屢創佳績，獲獎人數多達30餘人。其中在廣東省“拳拳兒女心，幽幽天地情”朗誦大賽中獲三等獎；在“新世紀廣州市學校師生現代設計藝術”現場大賽中，我校代表隊獲小學組一等獎；數學科更是碩果累累，其中在天河區第二屆精品課大賽中榮獲一等獎；在“全國小學數學優質課大賽”中喜獲一等；學生參賽的獲獎人數更是多不勝數，其中英語課本劇《狼和小兔》獲區三等獎，並在南方少兒台作了專題報道；舞蹈節目《五彩繽紛的大地》獲廣州市第八屆舞蹈節天河區賽區二等；六年級的曾譯心同學在參加全國花樣游泳比賽中，與隊友勇奪團體冠軍並個人第三名。學校以“爭創一流”爲辦學目標，積極推進教育的整體改革。2000年9月起學校分別參加了全國基礎教育外語教學研究專案“兒童英語故事教學法新探”的課題研究；以及廣東省教科所的“意義識字，推進閱讀，全面提高”的課題研究，以此優化課堂教學，推進各項工作的開展，突出我校辦學的特色。如今，年輕的陶育路人務實創新，煥發著青春活力；展望明天，我們信心百倍，未來的陶育路小學必將立於名校之林，綻放璀璨光彩。

Introduction
Taoyulu Primary School of Tianhe District of Guangzhou City (original name: Shipaidong Primary School), founded in June 1999, is located beside Huangpu Dadao Road , being adjacent to the famous Jinan University. At present , Taoyulu Primary School has a campus occupation of 6,350 square meters with 16 teaching classes and a teaching and administrative staff of 40 persons , among which 30 people have got Bachelor degress –87% of the total staff. There are over 600 students and it has thus turned to be a medium- scale school. Since its foundation, the primary school has been emphasizing on the reform of management system , putting forth effort in reconstruction of the team of teachers and informational education, giving an impetus to teaching science researches , art education and net education. It has made a good progress in running the school and received a high reputation in the societies around the area.

Conditions
Owing to the strict administration and regulations of the school, a hard-studying atmosphere and a quiet pleasant environment for study have been formed in the campus. You can see that students are active and vigorously play or do physical exercises on the 70m-long plastic cement runway or in the big entertainment sports stadium. Besides, the school has been equipped with perfect modern teaching facilities and professional classrooms such as painting classroom, music classroom, dancing classroom, electric piano classroom, computer network classroom, synthetic electrified classroom, reading room and Ping-pong room etc. These facilities have greatly aroused the development of creativity of the students.

Teachers
The leading team of the school has placed its emphasis on the development of its teacher. Under the efforts of various kinds of teachers training activities, the team of the first-class teachers has been growing rapidly in strength. More than 30 teachers obtained prizes in various competitions held in Tianhe District of Guangzhou City. Among them one teacher got the third prize in Guangdong provincial reciting competition titled”Love for Children with Vast Sentiment.” Our school team was granted the first prize among the primary school groups in the on-the-spot competition named “ New century Modern Design Art of Teacher& Students of Guangzhou Schools.” Great achievement has been obtained by the school in the subject of mathematics , in which it has got the first prize in the 2nd Competition of Excellent Mathematics lessons of The Schools in  Tianhe District and the first prize in the “National Primary School Mathematics Lesson Competitions.” Our students won too numerous prizes to count in various competitions. The play named “Wolf & Rabbit”, revised from the English Textbook of the primary school ,got the third prize of Tianhe District. The self-designed gymnastics by the school got the second prize of Tianhe District while the broadcasting gymnastics got the third prize .Southern Youngsters TV Station made a special report on it. The dancing program named “On the Colorful Land” got the second prize of the English Guangzhou Dance Festival in Tianhe section competition area. The sixth-grade student Zeng Yixin won the team championship by cooperating with his team members and he himself won the third prize of the individual all-around in the National Synchronized Swimming Contest.
